Searching for Scholarships workshop

This session, led by the WSU Office of Financial Aid, covers when students and/or families should begin searching and applying for available scholarships, different types of criteria for scholarships, how to develop an impressive application for scholarships, WSU invitationals, WSU general and departmental scholarships, how to search the Web and how to avoid scholarship scams.

The workshop also will cover federal financial aid and other solutions that can make college more affordable. Much of the information covered is intended for new or prospective college students. This presentation provides information and does not provide individual assistance.
