Reminders

* The next CUW luncheon Wednesday, Oct. 8, features TV-3 news anchor Anita Cochran speaking on breast cancer awareness. Members need to have their money for lunch along with the RSVP form to Cathy James in Human Resources, campus box 15 by noon Friday, Oct. 3. If you need a form, contact Cathy at 978-3554.

* Save lives and vote for WSU at this year's WSU Blood Drive, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 1) and Thursday, Oct. 2. Look for the "What Color do You Bleed" form at the Heskett Center lobby, or go to http://webs.wichita.edu/alumni/blooddrive.htm and print one out. Fill it out and turn it in for a chance to win a sporting goods gift card.

* The anthropology department Fall 2008 Colloquium Series will feature Refika Sarioder, sociologist, University of Bielefeld presenting "Ritual Manuals and the Transformations of Alevi Practice," at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 1) in 117 Neff Hall.

* The Center for Teaching and Research Excellence will host the webinar "Using a Template to Assist Faculty in Online Course Development" from noon-1:15 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 1) in the Media Resource Center's ITV Classroom.
