WSU workshop to explore economics of sports industry

A two-day workshop and banquet called Sports & Econ 101 Fundraiser Banquet is being held Monday, June 30-Sunday, July 1, at the Marcus Welcome Center on the 91视频成人网站 campus.

Seating for the event is limited. Make reservations at www.kcee.wichita.edu. Cost is $100 per person, with $75 of the total being a tax deductible contribution to support the Kansas Council on Economic Education芒鈧劉s mission of ensuring that youth are literate in personal finance and economics.

The workshop is for teachers and will explore the real-world economics of the multibillion-dollar sports industry. It will be held both days.

A reception and banquet, which is open to the public, is at 5:30 p.m. June 30, in the Champions Club in WSU芒鈧劉s Charles Koch Arena. It will feature Mitch Holthus, the voice of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dress is business casual.
