Diplomas
All certificate, bachelor's, master's and PhD diplomas are 8.5" high x 11" wide. The name on the diploma will read the same as the name submitted in the online application for degree, provided the Registrar鈥檚 office has a record of that name. Please contact jama.challans@wichita.edu if you have questions regarding your name on your diploma.
The deadline for submitting name changes is the last day of classes. The last day of classes is listed on the Semester Calendar.
Diploma distribution dates are listed below. They can be picked up at the transcript window on the first floor in Jardine Hall on the Main Campus. If the distribution dates fall on a weekend or holiday, diplomas will be available the next business day. You must show identification to pick up your diploma and cover.
Fall diplomas: Available starting February 8
Spring diplomas: Available starting July 1
Summer diplomas: Available starting September 8
Students wanting to have their diploma mailed to them can request and pay for this service through the . Simply log in, click the myClasses tab, locate the Graduation Links section, click the Request for Diploma Mailing link and submit your shipping and payment information. Diplomas will be mailed starting on the distribution dates specified above. Graduates are eligible for up to five free transcripts and must request these separately. If you have instructed us not to release any information on you, your written permission is required for us to verify your degree. Prospective employers would not be able to verify your degree through the National Student Clearinghouse. To purchase a degree certification, go to wichita.edu/certification.
Duplicate diplomas require a fee and a Duplicate diploma form. Please allow two weeks for processing.
Diplomas will not be provided to students with outstanding financial or other obligations to the University, with limited exceptions consistent with state and federal laws. For questions regarding financial holds, please contact Accounts Receivable at 316-978-3333.
Proactive Awarding of Associate Degrees
91视频成人网站 will proactively award Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degrees to undergraduate students who meet the below criteria. Students who meet the requirements of both the AA and the AS will be proactively awarded the AA degree unless they are in one of the majors listed below. When either the AA or the AS degree is proactively awarded, the student will receive an email notification with further information on how to receive the diploma.
Criteria:

- Student is enrolled in the award semester.
- Student has earned at least 60-75 credit hours, including a minimum of 15 hours earned at 91视频成人网站.
- Student is currently seeking a bachelor's degree at WSU.
- Student meets all AA or AS requirements, including a cumulative grade point average of 2.000 or higher.
- Student has not received or is not eligible to receive an associate degree via reverse transfer from a Kansas community college.
Students pursing the following majors and qualifying for proactive awarding of both the AA and AS will be proactively awarded the AS. Only one associate's degree may be awarded to each student.
